Happy Fourth of July

This morning I got up and went on a ride up to Pineview Reservoir via Ogden Canyon.  Then proceeded north to Eden.  Headed west up the mountain and down to North Ogden and continued west to an awesome little town called Warren.

My goal was to see if there was a way to get to Promontory point without having to get to it from the North side.  I came to an Air Force gate and was unable to proceed.  Then south from there along the very west side of the valley.

Made my way to Antelope Island entrance and just came home.  Ended up being just under 100 miles. Took about 2 hours or so and about a half tank.  What a fun ride exploring places I had no idea existed within 30 minutes of my house.

Later in the afternoon, Oliver asked if he could try riding the scooter.  So I took him over to the church to try riding, and maybe do some drills.  He whipped right through the easy drills, and got into the moderate skill drills.

Here is the Hot Air Balloon Drill:

And here he is performing it:

.      Well done!
